I have always taken my role in furthering the wider influence of occulture upon mundane reality very seriously. Much of my work falls neatly into line with the goals and values that our uniquely earthy, boots on the ground turn of the century sorcery still aspires to. As with many tricksters I am all too willing to cavort and play the fool, but there is usually a far deeper reasoning behind what those odd actions mean. Gods may not play dice, true, but I realised very early on in my studies that when that lofty metaphysical conceptualising hits the pavement safety in numbers is never a bad thing.

My most recent efforts to live the tenets of the Esoteric Accelerationist Manifesto, a document of my own creation that has sat glaring at the wider esoteric world since its consecration at the end of British Summertime in late 2019, has led to me rejoining my fellow adepts on social media for the first time in years. BlueSky itself is unremarkable as a platform, nothing more than an early Twitter clone in style, but it does grant me an opportunity to chew over tales of rituals past. One such discussion led to a request for a look into my structured, multilayered sequential sigils process, and I was all too happy to oblige.

The theoretical project which I am working on for this example is a general balancing of my finances, followed by a distinct improvement of them afterwards, an intent many trapped within the current neo-feudalist hellscape can identify with. It involves a multi stage money magick operation, and while that desire may seem overly simple it will be perfect to explore the idea of sequential sorcery in its most basic form. Thus I seek to understand, balance the foundation and then improve through a chain of interrelated casting events. This is obsessional sorcery of a kind, and like all bleeding edge tools requires much from the user.

It is no exaggeration to refer to these layered reality hacks as a fully immersive and mentally intensive system whereby the adept is required to remain in a magickal frame of mind for at least a month or more. During this prolonged low level gnosis they must trust in their instincts to help them navigate through the sea of abstract synchronicities which will inevitably begin to stack around them. And as with much of my spellwork this ultimately relies on reality being seen as nothing more than a series of quantum calculations, billions upon billions occurring every nanosecond of the day, every day of our lives.

By careful observing, stacking and creating clusters of any synchronicities generated by the ongoing ritual, the adept sets out to alter reality just enough to force a desired outcome. Sigils aside, the wider mechanics of the layered rituals remain firmly in the realm of low magick. That is crystals, colours, candles, meditation, dolls, dance, and nonsense mantra. Such a set of physical tools removes the otherwise pressing need to rewrite huge sections of historically established rules to get the job done. Lacking in proprietary technology to sell to the masses, perhaps. But sometimes simple is best for solid results.

I begin the month or so worth of interlinked spells with a simple opening, naming my desired goal and expanding upon what I hope to achieve. An anchor point in unreal space is thus created, a chronological waypoint that marks out the the ritual in time. Sigils work best for this, though any form of tangible image magick can perform a similar role as long as it has material presence. Once created it is to be left unfired until the entire reality hack concludes. From this point on I remain especially receptive to the flow of fate through my life, and can move on to the actual financial aspects.

Firstly, it is important to know exactly what is really required from the ritual chain. And in the case of money magick a distinction must be drawn between quick cash and long term stability. This understanding stage is similar in some ways to the divination that many occult systems will recommend before a spell is cast, though rather than throwing a handful of bones or consulting the tarot the adept instead lists the benefits and losses that are driving their desire for change. So yes, even journaling can be a spiritual tool if approached in the correct frame of mind, doubly so if also part of everyday practice too.

The understanding stage complete the adept then moves on to shoring up their existing situation. In the case of financial gain, the foundation stage would revolve around recognition of flaws and defence against further draining of their financial reserves, and can be done with sigils, mantras or a combination of both. That which does not kill you may well decide to sweep back in for another attempt, and indeed this can be the most emotionally draining part of the entire reality hack. Setting strong foundations will inevitably give the adept and their associates very little place to hide.

Friendships and even relationships may fall by the wayside, hobbies become stale, addictions come to the fore before demanding that they are faced. Anything that causes more financial drag than benefit will seem to suddenly lose its lustre, forcing those working the ritual to weigh up everything and anything that plays a role in their life, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. Many will abandon the working here and chose to remain within the comforting bars of the prison that they have built around themselves. And then there are the chaotes, for whom such self reflection is perceived as a grim responsibility.

To the improving stage, then. More sigils, daily rituals, and work awaits. The core idea here is to create a language key, be is visual or audio, that can deep dive into the adept’s subconscious and begin pulling the weave of fate in interesting directions. But this is far from a one and done deal. Nothing worth having can be won without a fight, and reality itself is the greatest opponent of all. Each night I would continue to work the same ritual with variations in desire as needed, and every day the synchronicities which will inevitably start falling into place as a results are weighed and choices made.

Have a care, though. Even miracles will refuse to manifest in a vacuum, so it falls to every spellcaster to rise to the challenge and create the very channels that the sea of abstract synchronicities will flow through any way they can. In the example above the safest way to receive a steady income is through work, and such a focus on actually approaching potential jobs in the material realm should be maintained. While there is nothing wrong with hiding contagious memes, sigilised desires or invisible text on those forms, the actual mundane action of applying in the first place is by far the most important.

Results won without such real world efforts have a nasty habit of breaking through the dam that once held them back, usually painfully. And the fallout from an ill advised spell can be devastating, should it even work at all. We all know practitioners who sought out wealth and lost loved ones to the Reaper in exchange for insurance payouts and compensation. The occult is no substitute for actually getting off your damn ass and putting in the hard work. Lazy Fraters may have an easy ride in mock masonic hierarchies, but chaos magick has long demanded a far more rigorous stance.

By the end of the initial ritual cycle, usually within a month or so, my actual wording used to manifest the desire will have evolved a great deal, from a starting point of something similar to ‘It is my will to improve my finances‘ towards a much more specific ‘It is my will to be chosen for the interview‘, depending on what mundane work has been done towards the goal. This is one of the reasons why nightly ritual is required, as it allows for such micro-adjustments on the fly. Once real world events begin to stack the adept will know that the situation has likely begun to move in their desired direction at last.

I then make the effort to drop out of the synchronicity focussed state of low energy gnosis, and resist the urge to push the issue further by unreal means. This can be easier said that done, but personally I like to reassure myself that the situation has been helped as much as it can be by sorcery now, and any extra effort in that sphere will just muddy the waters of manifestation. The continually amended but arguably more focussed desires are constructing themselves like nano machines upon the fertile foundation left by the first set of rituals and the situation is finally out of my control.

The initial opening sigil is finally fired and then destroyed, closing the loop and rendering the entire month or two which existed within that temporal snapshot a sovereign occult operation distinct from base reality, yet acted freely upon for the betterment of the adept. And that is about it really. I could add copious footnotes about timing, state of mind, correct choices of music and clothing or even which bodily fluids are required for success, all in an effort to add to the general mystique of my pet paradigm. But I see no value in creating a mythos around what I do, nor does added complexity further my long-term goals either.
